What is the CheapCord Reseller API?
The Reseller API is a way to buy Discord Shop items from your own code. Discord Shop items are avatar decorations, profile effects, nameplates, profile frames and bundles. Each one is delivered as an official Discord gift link.
You send us a list of items. We charge your reseller balance and buy the items through Discord's regional pricing. A few minutes later the gift links are ready for you to pick up and pass on to your customer.
It works for a Discord bot, a website, a marketplace listing or a simple script. If your code can send a web request, it can use the API.

Every reseller account gets a discount of 1% to 10% off the normal CheapCord price. That discount is not fixed. It goes up as your sales grow.

Message support with your CheapCord account email and a few words about where you sell. We tag your account and set your starting discount.

Create an API key
Open your account page and create a key under API keys. We show the key once, so copy it and keep it on your server.

Top up your balance with crypto. API orders are paid from it, so each order goes through instantly.

Reseller API questions
What is the CheapCord Reseller API?
It lets you buy Discord Shop items from your own code at reseller prices. You pay from your balance, and the gift links for your order are returned to you.
How does the volume discount work?
Reseller accounts get a discount off the normal price, from 1% to 10%, and the discount grows as your sales grow. We set your starting percentage when we approve your account and raise it as your volume goes up.
How much is the discount?
Between 1% and 10% off the normal price. Where you sit in that range depends on your sales volume. Message support with your expected volume and we will tell you where you start.
Who can use the API?
Accounts with the Reseller tag. To get it, contact support with your account email and a short note about where you sell.
How do I pay for API orders?
From your CheapCord balance. You top up the balance with crypto, and each order is paid the moment you place it.
How long does delivery take?
Gift links are usually ready within a few minutes. Check your order every 15 to 30 seconds until each gift link appears.
What if I send the same order twice by mistake?
Add a client_ref, your own order id, to each purchase. The same client_ref always returns the first order, so you are never charged twice.
Is there a rate limit?
Yes. Each key can make 120 requests a minute and 30 purchases a minute, which is plenty for most shops. Talk to support if you need more.
