How to claim your Discord gift link

Your gift link arrived. Here's how to claim it in Discord and show the item on your profile, in under a minute.

Every CheapCord order is delivered as an official Discord gift link. It looks like https://discord.com/gifts/.... Claiming it takes two taps.

Where to find your link

In your email. Look for "Your Discord gift link is ready". Check spam if you don't see it.
On your order page. The email has a View your order button. The page shows every link from your order.

How to claim it

Make sure you're logged in to Discord, on the account that should get the item.
Open the gift link. It works on the Discord desktop app, in your browser and on your phone.
Discord shows the item. Press Claim.

That's it. The item is now in your Discord collection.

Claim within 48 hours. Discord gift links expire after that, so don't leave it for later.

How to show it on your profile

Owning an item and wearing it are two separate steps. To wear it:

Open User Settings in Discord.
Go to Profiles.
Find the right spot: Avatar Decoration, Profile Effect or Nameplate.
Pick your new item and save.

Your friends will see it right away.

Good to know

Each link works once, for one account. Once someone claims it, it's used up.
Bundles come as one link. Claiming it adds every item in the bundle to your collection.
Buying for a friend? Just send them the link. Whoever claims it first gets the item.

Something went wrong?

If a link says it's already claimed or no longer valid, don't worry. Message support with your order number (it starts with CC-). Real people answer, usually fast.
