The one-word trick: swap "discord" for "cheapcord" in any Shop link

Here's the fastest way to check a price. You're looking at something in the Discord Shop. Click the address bar, change one word, press Enter. You're now looking at the same thing on CheapCord, for much less.

The trick: in the address, replace discord with cheapcord. Nothing else changes.

How it works

Every page in the Discord Shop has an address. We built CheapCord so that the same address works here. Swap the domain and you land on the matching page.

You're on	Change it to	You get
discord.com/shop	cheapcord.com/shop	The shop home
discord.com/shop?tab=nameplates	cheapcord.com/shop?tab=nameplates	All nameplates
discord.com/shop/collection/...	cheapcord.com/shop/collection/...	The whole collection
discord.com/shop#itemSkuId=...	cheapcord.com/shop#itemSkuId=...	That exact item

The tab names are the same as Discord's: avatar-decorations, profile-effects, nameplates, profile-frames and bundles.

Step by step

1. Open the Discord Shop in your browser and click the item, collection or tab you like.
2. Click the address bar at the top.
3. Change discord to cheapcord. Leave everything after it exactly as it is.
4. Press Enter.

Your item opens here. The page shows Discord's price next to ours, so you can see what you save.

On your phone

Phone browsers hide part of the address, so tap the address bar first and the full link appears. Tap the word discord, replace it, and go. If you'd rather not edit anything, copy the link and paste it into the search bar on CheapCord. This guide shows how.

Which links work

• Item links from the Shop open that item.
• Collection links open the whole collection, with the same tabs.
• Tab links such as ?tab=profile-frames open that type of item.
• Links with extra bits on the end, like tracking tags, are fine. We ignore what we don't need.

What if the page says it isn't available?

Now and then an item can't be bought through CheapCord, for example when Discord only sells it in some countries. We say so on the page instead of letting you pay for something we can't deliver. Browse the same collection for something close, or ask support.

Why bother?

Discord Shop prices are high for what they are. A decoration that costs $5.99 on Discord is around $1.54 here, and it still arrives as an official Discord gift link you claim yourself. The swap takes about three seconds, and you only buy if the price looks right.
